Questions grown-ups ask

Do my kids need an account?

No. Kids never sign up or type an email address. One grown-up creates the Family plan account, then adds players. A player is just a nickname, a Jorbly picture and a grade.

What do you collect about my child?

Only what a player needs: a nickname, the Jorbly they picked, their grade, the word lists you add, and their game progress. We don't ask for a child's real name, birthday or photo, and there are no ads or trackers.

Can each kid have their own spelling words?

Yes. Each player has their own lists, so a 1st grader and a 4th grader in the same house each practice their own week's words.

Can my kids still play for free?

Yes, always. Word of the Day, Spelling, Missing Letters and Typo Hunt stay free, with built-in words for 1st to 4th grade. The other games show a friendly "ask a grown-up" screen.

How do I cancel?

From your account, any time. Your kids go back to the free games, and their own word lists are kept in case you come back.

Is there a plan for teachers?

A Classroom plan for teachers is on the way. If you're a teacher, check back soon.
